    Just had that on my soon to go Skoda Citigo, but it also ripped, they wanted I think £180 to replace, but they bodged it and it is fine :)

    Is driving through flood water alright? I drove through some at just about 3/4 wheel height maybe more, altho mine was at about 8mph haha

    Easier than you think to smash into a puddle, I had some sideways action the other night, was quite exciting at the time not so funny when you think about it, I must admit it proved to me that I can control the little fiesta, it also serves as a warning not to under estimate standing water and to keep your eyes open, the one that got me was hidden in a shady dip in the dark so no hope of seeing it. Keep safe on the roads at the minute guys.

    I did the same on Christmas eve driving to work at 5AM. It was only about 20MPH but bent the heat shield, Then it was catching on the gear linkage so made a horrible metallic scraping noise every time I moved the gearstick. Had to wait until I was home to get under the car and bend it back again!
