New to the forum.

I have an 08 Titanium X 2,2 TDCI. Great car with lots of toys.

Recently I have a couple of niggles;

1) Rear offside window opens by itself at random times and cannot be closed for 15-20 secs

2) Cruise seems to have stopped working. I can turn it on to stand-by but when I try to set the speed the stand-by notification flashes and it turns itself off. Also sometimes the stand-by notification flashes in the display, again quite randomly.

Any ideas guys?

Hi Tony,

The rear window could be either a defective switch or moisture in the circuit, will be worth removing the door card and taking a look and perhaps swapping the switch if necessary.

With the cruise control, you should scan for error codes, it might be that the ABS system is providing odd results that its not happy, as such the cruise will stop as its not confident of what the car is doing.

How to I scan for error codes - do I need to go to a dealer or is there a way of doing it myself.
