So I work in an IT department supporting an NHS Trust and we have our fair share of bizarre and funny requests for support, but the one which came in yesterday definitely took the title of funniest request of the year so far.

Email: We would like to report a laptop not working in Ward X. It is not working and is smoking. Wait for it.........it's coming................." A patient has urinated on it"

Could someone from IT come down urgently to fix this. Thanks, Ward Clerk.

We spent the best part of the morning pis*ing ourselves (no pun intended :D ) as no one was going to set foot out of the office to look at that.

There's one we don't get everyday :)
