what your looking at is

Intake Air Flap Housing

this carries 3 sensors...

1/ Intake Manifold Air Control Actuator Position Sensor

2/ Turbo/Supercharger Boost Air Temperature Sensor

3/ Turbo/Supercharger Boost Pressure Sensor .....(this is the one that people refer to as a MAP)

not having worked on one of these engines, cant help with which one is which or if they are available seperately or as a complete unit

As per picture, It's listed as Sensor Assembly.

Finis (part) number 1439044.

Price is in Euro but works out at about £38.

Where can it be bought as I can't find it online

Take the Finis number to a Ford dealers parts counter and they'll sort you out.

Double check part compatability with them before ordering.

It looks to me like a pressure sensor, the one at the rear appears to hang inside the inlet assembly so looks to me like a temp sensor.

let us know how you get on.

As soon as it's dry I will be stripping sand cleaning them if fails will have to replace will let you know when complete
