Hi,

I have a 2006 Focus. Looking for help identifying why all of a sudden when I turn off the engine my windscreen wipers start juddering, random warning lights can appear on the dashboard, my hazard lights flicker, rear demister comes on, warning buzzer sounds...these don't all happen every time, except for the wipers but they have all happened at some point.

Once engine is on there are no issues!

It's strange having your car keys in your pocket walking away from the car and to see the wipers going :-)

Does anybody have an idea of what's gone wrong??

    Check the fusebox in the passengers footwell (under the glovebox) to ensure that all the electrical connectors are seated properly as they can be accidentally kicked loose.

    Also check the engine bay fusebox for water ingress and possible corrosion.
