Hi troops just signed up and thought I better say hi.

My names Jamie, and I have just put a deposit down on a 2013 focus zetec s diesel, so hopefully this time next week I will have her in my possession.

My car history has always been hot hatch, had a focus st 225 which I loved, swapped that for a mk5 golf gti which was a nicer place to sit than the ST but had the dsg gearbox which I got bored of after a couple months, would have prob got on a lot better with a proper manual, but was by no means a bad car. I traded that in for a FN2 civic type r, which was prob my least favourite out the 3, I am only 28 and am gonna sound like an old man, and say it was far to harsh, the focus and golf where comfy cars, and when you wanted to made you enjoy going a drive.

getting on a bit now, lol, with a little girl, and a bigger house deposit needing saved decided to get rid of the type r, and swap for something a bit more friendly on the wallet, decided to go for the zetec s, just as its tad nicer than your average focus with with the body kit etc, and the 20quid road tax opposed to 280 a year was a big plus point.

Anyway enough about me, just thought I would say hi, and look forward to picking your brains in the near future about the focus when I get it.

Hi Jamie,

Welcome, Bet you can't wait to pick up your Focus, I Was a Renault Laguna Sport Tourer Man for years, but got fed up with all the electrical and suspension problems, then, just after spending £700 on service, new discs and brakes, the turbo' decided to leak oil all over my driveway, so it had to go..

Because I lost so much money on the Renault, I could Only get an older FORD, so took a while trying out a few, and found my 1st ever Focus Ghia 1.8 Tdci, in December, I think Ford have got it right with a lot of thoughtful innovative ideas and although it's a 2006 model, luckily it's been really looked after, so I'll be definitely keeping with the Focus from now! Will be saving up the pennies for a newer model.

Hope you have fun with your one!

Regards, Chris..
