Codes Po133 And P1131

Featured Replies

I have these codes come up po133 which is the O2 sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 1. Does it mean the lambada sensor at the top of the manifold or the other one near the cat? Also code p1131 just comes up as manufacturer control. Does anyone know what that means? Thx

That first code is the manifold Lambda sensor.

Other code is for a fuel/air mix error, could be because of the Lambda sensor or could also be a MAF sensor error.

I'd sort out the lambda sensor first and reset any codes.

If P1131 comes back again then look to the MAF.

What does maf mean?

Mass Airflow Sensor, It's in a section of the air inlet pipe just after the filter box.

Can't miss it, it's a section of pipe with a sensor and wiring on it.

Hello. I have a 1998 ford focus, Engine Code: FYDA. I replaced the lambda probe, and after 200 km there are errors P0133 and P1131. Intake Air Temperature = 60 on a cold car. Put a new MAF but the temperature = 60 degrees Celsius. Please tell me where to look for the cause. Thank U.
