St Leather Heated Seats

Featured Replies

Hi I bought full fiesta st heated leather interior for my fiesta mk6.5. 06 reg , seats have switch on them , I have plug under normal seat but I think this for seat belt , is there a easy way wire these up if so can someone help thanks

The plug under the seat is for either the tensioner or airbags, if the loom isn't present for the heated seats it'll be a ballache to get them working, a lot of people bought Civic EX leather seats that were heated, bought the switches as there were blanks but no looms underneath, very very difficult thing to achieve if it didn't come out of the factory.

Think I said this in another one of your threads but worth another mention..

Previous owner of my fez upgraded the seats to the ones found in the ST, wired the seats up to the 12v socket..

Make sure you turn them off or your battery will go flat! They still work just as well and give you that 'just peed yourself' warmth keep us updated on how you get on!

What 12v socket do you know

The 12v next to the gear gaiter I believe! I'll have a look under the seats when I get a minute and see if I can trace the wiring!

Hope you can see the attachment, as you can see the wires lead away from the seat underneath where the handbrake sits...

Can only assume it's tucked under there to keep it tidy and then connected up to 12v, I'll try find an instillation guide for you - or speak to the previous owner!

Hope that helps

Thanks desperate get them wired up

In my old 2004 Focus I bought heated leather seats and wired them up to the original switches. Was a pain to be honest but I ended up sourcing the buttons. panel and a loom from another car at a scrap yard or off ebay but I gave it to an auto electrician I knew in the end who sorted it. Was spot on though, the buttons even lit up too!
