Fiesta Mk7 Clicking/ticking Noise From Under The Bonnet!

Featured Replies

Whoops

So another of my colleagues has commented on the "clicking" noise thats coming from under my bonnet

Its a noise I've not really noticed until its been mentioned to me and now wondering if its something I should get looked at

It does change with engine revs! its a petrol 1.25 engine with not that many miles on the clock (just hit 36k!)

I have also noticed of late it seems a little "juddery" while idle and when I got for any sort of acceleration it sort of hesitates? before finally going

Any ideas?

I get the clicking after I've ran the car letting it heat up - I had it looked at and was told it was the fan coming on / off?

Not too sure about the acceleration lag as it's non-turbo?

It's continuous pal from the moment I turn the car on to turning it off (hot and cold)

I can only describe it like the sound of electric arcing?
