Hid Kits

Featured Replies

Hi, I was just wondering for those people who have converted their halogens to xenon hid kits where they bought them from? I have previously had a HID kit 6000k of eBay, it lasted around 4 months - and I drove with them on all the time because it looks so much better than the dull halogen running day time lights. But they did started to flicker a lot after around 4 months and I wanted to know where others got their kits from, how much they paid and if they're good or not?

I don't particular want anyone to moan about them not being road legal or how I have to get washer kits, end of the day I found my 55w 6000k HID's fine and nobody ever flashed me at all.

i have 35w 6k hids from hids direct and no problme slasted 3months on every day and still going strong :) also was £55

Do you find having 35w are bright enough? I cannot stress enough the frustration of having lights that give no light output onto the road surface, I'm currently back to using halogens and I hate them in comparison to HID.

Are these the ones you have?

I've got 55watt 12s had them about 8months now and I work in my car 6 days a week all nite driving and never had a problem and only cost me 30pound aswell. I had problems with other hids were if I leave then on then start the engine after months of doing that it does make them not work all the time

After watching this video I feel quite embarrassed that I don't really dare trying to install a HID kit in my car :)
