06 1.6 Focus Ghia Max Rpm And Management Light When Starting

Hi, I am new to this app so just getting used to it,

I have just bought a 06 1.6 focus Ghia, upon starting the max rpm light and the management light come on for around while 10-15 seconds (whilst doing this all gauges are inactive) then they all become active and the lights disappear.

Runs absolutely fine no hunting or juddering etc.

The garage I bought it from told me it's a feature to make sure you don't over rev the engine when first starting?(allowing oil to pass around before revving)

Does anybody else's do this or have I been had and bought a lemon?
