New Turbo Required. 57 Plate Tdci Fiesta

Featured Replies

Hi, just looking for some advice from people more in the know than me really!

I have a 1.6 TDCI 57 plate Fiesta. Just under 100k on the clock. Suffered loss of power - taken it to Fords (as past experience they seem to be the only place around that can read the codes from the ECU. Have basically replaced the Pistons and have said I need a new Turbo. Total damage £863 quid (pistons replaced 450). So looking at around 400 to replace the Turbo. Is this a decent price? Should I shop around? As much as I am a 'have a go' type og person, feel out of my depth with this. Any advice would be appriciated thanks!

£400 for the turbo from FORDS doesn't seem to bad to be honest.
