How you doing folks hope all is well. :)

How are the Fords running :)

As some of you know I had complication with my Mondeo after spending so much trying to sort it out and also me investergating faults and taking things off, hoping to find the cause.

I never did find the cause, but the owner I know had the extact same problem it turned out I was right about the timing being off, His chain had slipped and the injector pump was out of sink, not getting the correct fuel mixture.

in the end my videos did help, Didn't fix mine, but at least my mate did so wasn't all in vain. :)

Took the mondeo to the scrap yard, on the day it broke down 6 times before reaching the place. I'm sure this car was trying to tell me something,

It got there in end and the hunt for a new car began.

Here she his bought it in January 6th.

Its a Rover 75 2.0L CDTI M47R engine, which is a BMW design, no headgasket issures, unlike the K-series engines. :)

After collecting the car first thing i did was give it a full valet, interior and exterior. :D :D :D Love this car, also gave it some maintence and more soon to come. :D :D

When I first saw the car first thing I did was checked everything, pretty much like a MOT mechanic lol.

I knew there was some work to be done, but I didn't mind as I enjoy it, plus wasn't going to cost a lot to get it through Its MOT.

More pics of the car when I took it to national tyres, Due to my trolley jack wouldn't go underneath the car, i had to take it to the garage. Since I've know them since I did work experince withn 3 years ago tney let me off with a small charge for fitting, at the same let me work underneath the car while the discs and pads were being fitted. :)

Then came out the wax oil, underseal and copper grease. Also sprayed my calipers and exhaust in silver for a cleaner look. :)

I've never seen copper slip used like this before? Will it not cause crap to stick to it with water, causing a right mess?

I had the MG oil burner. Was a strong beast of a car. Very cheap and more than capable.

Rovers are the most comfortable cars built. I had a few including a 200bhp 800 Vitesse Sport Lux with the 2.0 Turbo engine. Fantastic drive but cost a fortune whenever it needed work.
