Speaker Rattle

Featured Replies

Soo, the time has come for my first topic :P

Owned my Mk7 Zetec S for a few months now and in the past few days it has developed a rattling sound while playing music. (It's coming from the driver's side speaker)

I usually have the bass turned up a little(+2) so tried turning that down to 0, but it just makes it a little less noticeable. The only way I could get rid of it was to put the bass to about -4 but then it compromises the quality of the sound, something I obviously don't want.

So I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem/know's of a fix for it?

Any advice would be appreciated!

I also have this rattle :(. Gonna sort it next week. Won't be anything major just take your door card off and have a look
