This is a wierd question really but on Friday I was ferrying people around in the fiesta and it had reached operating temperature for around 15 minutes of driving, I parked up and went to a shop which was about 30 minutes when I got back in and started her up it was down to the single large bar it soon returned to operating temperature, I drove about half a mile to pick someone up from another shop and while waiting I had the heater on full blast and at about half way hot the temperature gauge kept changing from operating temperature to the single large bar for about 5 minutes of idling, so how big is the heater matrix to actively cool the engine so easily and how long does it take to fully warm the little zetec se engine up properly?
