Eco Boost Labour

Featured Replies

Hi All

Am new to this so please go easy, picked up my 6 month old 1.0 eco boost fiesta.

What a great car just one thing though it only seems to like third gear at 30mph

and labours slightly when in fourth. also need to be doing about 55 for fifth.

Does this sound right and am I just going to get use to it.

Also what general MPG should I get being light footed.

Thanks for any help

You'll find the car's gearing is slightly different then what your used to.

The best (in my opinion) is...

2nd = 20

3rd = 30

4th = 40

5th = 50 and above.

These are the minimum speeds you should be doing in whatever gear your in.
