Music Won't Play Using Usb

Featured Replies

Just got a 2014 Fiesta SE and the USB thumb drive won't play the music. I tried 2 different drives. I can play the USBs in my Edge. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,

How are the usb stick formatted? FAT or NTFS? And is it just normal MP3 files on the stick?

As far as I know it only supports FAT, and normal MP3 files.

I don't know how it's formatted, I did the drag and drop from the computer. They are WMA files.

Thanks for the reply

Don't think it works with WMA files, only MP3 to my knowledge.

You can check the formatting on the properties of the usb stick (in Windows, My Computer. Right click, select properties)

It's not a UK model, the poster is from abroad.

I use FAT32 and MP3 format, everything plays fine.

Same here, works flawlessly :)
