Removing The Centre Console On A Mk6

Hi guys,

My situation is this.. Basically I replaced the radio with a touchscreen GPS unit which to my luck is now faulty. And it will not come out for the life of it. I've tried removal keys, knifes and even pushing from the back nothing works. I'm thinking of removing the centre console but to successfully remove it there are screws behind the radio unit which I obviously can't get to so I'm probably going to have to break it!

I've found two of the screws that I've unscrewed where the coin holder and window heater were:

But I can't seem to remove to top part here:

Am I missing something?

I know when I get that off I can at least bend it to where the other screws are behind the radio unit and possibly snap it there.

Thanks.
