Oil Change

Featured Replies

hi, i have just bought a ford fiesta 1.4 2010 and i want to change the oil in it when i have completed, will there be an[ oil can] light symbol on the dash if so how do i extinguish it ,thanks.Im from old school and i like to change it before the usual service intervals.

I wouldn't of thought you would get the light on the dash as you would have filled up to the correct level. If it does come up on the dash I have heard of people disconnecting the battery over night which resets the ecu apparently.

Never done that myself so can only say what I've seen others do.

I change the oil myself on my focus and never have a problem with the lights on the dash.
