Hi guys, with the carbon chip in the keys, can you code these to another car?

I as much buying a new blade to a flip key and will then try get this paired to the car, but I can't recall if the car in chips are in essence single use only?

    IIRC in the flip key the chip is in the blade end not the fob so you should get a new chip if the blade end is new.
