Bluetooth Sync Probs With Mobile Phone

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I have had fiestas for as long as i can remember . I had a 2007 freedom when i lived in uk and am now living in corfu greece. I bought a second hand ford fiesta 2008 model last year . I am trying to sync my mobile phone with it but when i try to sync it says no phone on the unit ! i have tried holding the on off button for 15 seconds to see if this has any effect not no nothing !

any ideas what i can do next ?

cheers !

hello , many thanks for the quick response ! my ford audio is all in working order as can sync with my old mobile from uk , so looks like the phone is not compatible as dosent support audio bluetooth ! so looks like a trip back to the shop to exchange for one that does ! x

Just to check your current Fiesta has the numbers 1 to 9 on the right hand side ? , indicating thats its a bluetooth stereo yes?

You could try clearing any/all phones from the system and try a new scan , i had a problem with my Focus where it would not pick up my Works Blackberry.

Also you may have made the same mistake as me, if using Android,

Bluetooth on phone may be on, but you have make the phone discover-able to all devices, otherwise it will just say no device found, took me a good 10 mins to figure that one out even though the option was right infront of me.

^this.

I did the same as Matt. Once I realised my phone wasn't visible, and sorted it, the rest was straightforward mate.
