just wondering what spark plugs you guys use and what is the best to put in the 2009 focus mk2.5 1.6 zetec engine?

I'd love to know this also, at the moment i've got Champion Spark Plugs.... i cant remember the model name of them though.

bosch or ngk are what ford fit as standard gapped at 1.0mm i use the bosch as thats what came in thew car from the factory some use the ngk personally i wouldnt use any others

so whats the best spark plug for the 2009 mk2.5 1.6 zetec focus?

also what gap is best to set plugs at is it 1.0mm?

I used some ngk iridiums, bit more pricey than regular plugs, but worth every penny.

I went from using ford motorcraft plugs at £3 a pop to these ngk iridiums at a tenner each and the engine feels much more zippy.

Ive fitted the NGK Iridium IX to my 1.6 petrol toyota and found a noticable difference in throttle response,

So they are bound to be better on the more modern focus zetec engine which uses coil pack ignition,

Guranteed better spark resulting in cleaner burn and more economical,

Id purchase from ebay.co.uk tough as there much cheaper than the shops for these spark plugs.
