Had the Mountune MP140 upgrade carried out last week and have noticed the green arrow gear shift up indicator is no longer is coming on. Just wondering if this is normal and has been deleted as part of the remap ?.

I've always had a 140 kit and never had a shift up arrow so I'd assume it's normal lol

I'm 99.9% sure it was working when I drove away from the dealers last week.....very strange......either that or the bulb has gone...

You can turn it back on from the menu- it's called eco mode apparently lol

Yeah just asked the OH and apparently that's it lol, because it tells you when to change for best fuel economy

Sounds like a bonus with the upgrade, I hate it I really don't need a light to tell me when to change gear.

I like the up shift arrow makes me feel like rebel when I ignore it and carry on revving up to 6 :P

That's a fair point.

That arrow flashes up when there is plenty left on tap before you need to change up

I think it's a marker to get the best out of the car in terms of fuel, but it doesn't harm the car if you ignore it
