Are orange sidelights legal? I notice a lot of volvos have them. Also what are your opinions on them?

It's what is commonly called de-tangoing (fitting silvertec type bulbs).

Amber sidelights are usually reserved for buses and trucks, not up to date on the legality of retrofitting tbh.

Yeah, I'm the same. Chrome bulbs all round. I also thought that but there's some cars that come standard with them

Different countrys have different laws and the lights may be different colours or wired differently (like yellow headlights in France, or Scandanavian contrys with their sidelights staying on all the time- years before DRLs)

Or JDM cars having to have the lights changed in some way for the UK

The sigdelights may be indicators (or "turn signals") on US- spec cars, were the indicators stay on all the time when driving and flash when turning (often autumatically when you turn the wheel)

Things are becoming more standardised worldwide (or EU- wide anyway)

Id say yh as long as it doesn't look like u have your hazard on lol, but i personal hate orange lights and always pick white over orange can i ask why you want to know?

I was putting them in, I also prefer to get away from the tango look hence chrome bulbs all around haha. It was more just something different I guess
