I wouldn't paint drums a colour I'd just leave them black or white as imo they're nothing to shout about lol.

In this car I'm looking to paint the calipers yellow and in my next car they'll be pink lol ;)

I think yours would look nice blue tbh

Drums black, always black.

Not the best pic but here's mine, gonna paint the drums black. I just kept the calipers on and used tinned paint but if your taking them apart your aswell just spraying them.

Also what do you think of your spacers? (Other than not sitting right). Do you think 20mm would be a bit much?, only on the rear though

Nice i like them in blue defo doing mine!! Did you take yours off??

And spacer wise my alloys have a less offset than the ford alloys so 15's are on the limit on what i can fit on the rears and they sit alright after i had a look there fine i believe and 20mm should be fine if you using ford alloys or steels so go for it m8 :)

Im going 5mm on the fronts too but as i say my alloys offset is 10mm smaller than the ford alloys so where merv went 25mm at the rear i could only go 15, there's the extra 10mm on the offset playing a part and he went 15 at the front where ive gone 5

So they should be fine m8

Yeah, the blues not bad, a little light for my liking but it'll darken with the break dust haha. No, I just used a fine paint brush and masking taped everything off. Probably best taking them off if you know what your doing.

Ah, I see that's good then. Think I'll go for 20s on the rear and 15 on the front. Will I need the extended studs/threads??? I think the come with the Eibach ones but not too sure

And yh ive got a slightly darker blue than that so will use that :)

And get ebiach pro spacers they bolt onto your axel then your wheel bolts onto the spacer easy as m8 just torque them up correctly tho! And no u dont need the extended studs

Ah that's great :). How can I torque them up correctly?

  • Author

Just use a torque wrench m8 £20 one will do it, its 110nm they nuts need to be on the spacers and the wheels i bought a wrench of eBay 2 years ago for £20 and its been a huge god send to use and best £20 spent

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app

Ah okay, that could be pretty handy for the future. Any chance you could send me a link, eBay or something?

I can find plenty adjustable torque wrenches but did u get the bits seperate?

Think I'll go a skive to halfords tommorow

  • Author

Yh i already have a socket set and just needed a torque wrench but you only need. 19mm for the wheels but its soo handy for anything on the car :) highly recommend and yh i can link you one on eBay??

Here's a good one

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/141234578608

And yh halfords will do em

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app

Ah okay, that's not too bad. I'll need a 18mm one too as I rounded a couple of my alloy cap (as in the covers) so I had to take them off. I'll have a look at halfords tommorow and decide what one too get. Cheers
