So, shortly after I bought the new mondy, it seemed to have attracted a nail to one of the tyres (someone I think is out to get me!)

So, after many happy miles with it, I opted to remove the nail... Slowly as I pulled the nail, the tyre started hissing at me - maybe its worse than I thought! so I went about sourcing a removal. One quick phone call and I sourced a brand new tyre for £55! I had no objections to paying such a low amount, I anticipated it would be some sort of poor quality tyre not worth taking a whizz on, but it was going to do the job. £55 lighter, I finally decided to research the tyre for curiosity purposes!

I was sold a Carbon Series CS607 215/55 R16 97W

having looked at it, this seems to be the best thing I have seen in a long time! for the size tyre and the specs, I think I am living the dream!

I bought it from tyreweb (different to the URL) but tyre webs cheapest tyre for lesser spec that they sold me this one (that isnt on the website!) is £101 fitted! Yes, thats about a 46% saving for better than there advertised stock.

So for this, I got a C grade tyre for all - noise, wet braking and fuel efficiency!

What do you guys think?

    Doesnt it just! Decent graded tyres for half the price of its alternative eco tyre, I am over the moon!

    The cynic wonders if they put the wrong rating label against the tyre, and actually the real ratings are the worst of the worst, but I can hope for excellent value!
