Hi guys I'm after a bit of advise I'm looking to decat my car but have been told it will make the engine management light come?? And that would send my OCD into over drive lol is there any way of avoiding this?thanks tom

    Mil light extinguisher. Removes the eml light. But it wont pass an m.o.t because you have not cat

    Sadly de cats are an mot failure now so removing it and driving then say you have an accident youre uninsured

    If you have the car mapped many remaps will disable the light I think bluefin does this.

    Id love to know how a bluefin could do this as its a plug in generic map. Not a car specific map. Plus if you have a decat pipe you need to trick the pcm into thinking there isnt any wrong signals from the downstream an upstream hego sensors.

    It may not be specific for that exact car but a bluefin map is specific for the model i.e focus ST. Pretty sure at least some of the bluefin maps on the multi file do this but you will have to phone superchips to double check.
