Boot Problem :s

Featured Replies

my boot has a mind of its own.

if my car has been sat for a while e.g over night the next morning I get in and it says boot is open :s.

so I had to get out close it again I thought it could be that when I were last in boot I didn't close it properly but after closing all is fine.

so it don't happen every day it maybe just happens 5 times a week and the possibility of burglars is ruled out as I have a locked drive and nothing is left in car.

just want to know if anyone else has had this problem and if so how to resolve.

thanks

Sounds like there might be a problem with the boot switch.

Assuming it is the 2014 Fiesta in your profile, then I would take it straight back to the dealers and get them to sort it under warranty.

Micro switch in the boot..common as muck :)

where is the micro switch at and how can it be sorted.

The micro switch is the boot switch. Think it just unclips, havnt done one for a few months so its from memory. If its still in warranty it should be covered
