Eibach Redline Springs For Fiesta Mk7?

Featured Replies

I seen these "special edition" eibach springs which lower the rear around 45mm and the front 35mm. Has any one tried these out? I was thinking of getting these, but surely lowering the car this low this much on just lowering springs would be stupid?

Here is the link for them: www.pumaspeed.co.uk/product-REDLINE-Special-Edition-Level-Springs-by-Eibach_16246.jsp&pic=5

If say going lower than 30/35 u need updated springs!! And i dont see where you would want the rear lower??

Sent from my iPhone using Ford OC mobile app

I lowered my last car by 45mm all round on just springs, and within 12 months, maybe sooner, the shocks/dampers had gone. I ended up getting coilovers.

I wouldnt lower more than 30mm if you want to give your shocks a chance of working for another 12months plus.

You should get uprated dampers if lowering that much, standard ones will just be sitting on the bottom all the time, I'd expect huge camber and tyre wear lowering it that much though.

like the comments above any lower than 30mm id just get coilovers saves all the trouble and you can perfelcty set them up to how you like it, heres a link to some cheap but very good coilovers if heard nothing but wicked reviews about!!

or the more up market ones

there are quite a few companys that range in prices between the two

Can get Bilstein ones for the price of BC's, job done with them, but for £250 you probably can't do too bad for that money, even if you have to buy another set in a few years it's still cheaper than other brands.

thanks for the responses, Im on the eibach pro kit at the minute which is 30mm drop. Looks like i will be getting coil overs in the future. I was told by some websites selling springs that any thing over 70mm on springs is too low, hahaha, they will say anything for a sell.
