D13 HPD 95
i found a universal one, just clip the hoses over the top of the old ones and cable tie them on but its a bit of a cheat really aint it :/ http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330967964951?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
MattDRX
Be careful putting covers over hoses they wont cool down as quick as they should and may cause it to insulate more than it should also.
D13 HPD 95
hmm yh fair point, its only pvc plastic and shouldnt cause much heat shielding should it? also i carnt find any hose kits for a 1.2 only the st's -.-
D13 HPD 95
this is the only thing i have found and rang them up and they say it fits the 1.25 fine http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-brand/brands-s-to-t/samco-sport/samco-blue-coolant-hose-set-fiesta-mk7-1-4-1-6-tcs-530-c.html
D13 HPD 95
also just spoken to the seller on the hose kit the plastic cover ones, he said hes sold hundrends of sets and no one has said anything about over heating and they have tested the kit on a running engine and there is only a slight temp increase of around 2 deg and they got in down again by 5 deg by adding better coolant to the rad to overcome the effects so i think im going for it and see what happens lol
MattDRX
Adding better coolant? In other words using more water / less coolant. And I hope they didn't measure the temp using an IR laser on the hose, if it's insulated more it won't show the correct temp. Pvc plastic does insulate a fair bit.
