Clutch Pedal Noise

Featured Replies

Hi I wonder if anyone can help. I'm thinking of buying a 2003 1.8 tdci focus from a family member it's done 51000 miles and only 700 since last July. it has a noise ,almost a grinding when the clutch pedal is depressed fully down but only when changing up the gears and not when changing down. it has no problems going into gear and gearstick has no vibration or movement when in gear. The rest of the car appears sound and I know its history. I will be getting the cam belt changed due to age as this has not been done. I'm on a limited budget and don't want to face a large bill in the near future.

any advice would be appreciated

Andy
