hi all,

just got my first car 2002, January, fiesta flight 1300. lovely! just got to learn to drive and pass the test.

can anyone help me in how I tell if it's a mark 4 or mark 5 and how, if it is possible, do I adjust the instrument panel brightness as mine is very dim.

    It's a mk5 as far as I know, the mk6 was introduced march 2002

    As for your instrument panel if it's the same as my old mk6 then there isn't any adjustment

    But I may be wrong and I'm sure someone else will have better knowledge of the mk5's than me

    If you're that fussed about it being dim there's plenty of aftermarket kits for brighter colours, the most common is blue! But that's only if you're really desperate I guess! :D
