Stewie316
I might of asked this before but i've got really stiff gears most of the time. When the car is pretty much on 50 miles or less or on the RED mark. The car seems more responsive and the gears are really smooth to change. Now i dont want the car to run on empty and let it suck in all the crud at the bottom of the tank but, could this be a fuel pump issue? FOCA
The ECU goes into a "fuel saving mode" when the low fuel warning light is on - so this can affect the way the car drives- it should not do what you describe, though Just to get an idea do you drive very fast/ slowly or are a new driver/ have been driving a long time, etc?
