They say should cost around £27,000 base price but I would go for the mk2 t5 5 pot engine. But still very very nice car.

2.3-liter Ecoboost turbo (the same as in the Mustang). But this engine should be pushine 350bhp.

looks cool, nice bonnet vents and wings are Escort Cossie-esq. Only thing I don't like is that rear bumper diffuser as it looks too big.

I hope its not an AE photoshop jobbie - they are saying its a 2016 scoop, surely the RS is coming out well before that???

Ford are making it front wheel drive. I don't think they will ever make it all wheel or even 4 wheel . There making some changes to the revo system so it's better.

Came across it before and googled it well I was unable to find anything to back this article hence my reluctance to share it with the forum.

Might well just be auto express generating hype but the dates of it's arrival seems real, ford normally release an RS near the end of production of the facelift model and the mk3.5 is due to end 2017.

Most definitely hoping its around 27k and no more because I'm gunning for one

I would say they are not official. Ford would never release pics of the car unless they plan on releasing a year later. So the pics are fake or could be real. Eithier way sexy car. Buy the new RS when I does come out if it look rubbish compared to this one that just helps this forum. MORE MODS.

Sico developments also have this in their lastest news feed so im 50/50 of its real or not same pics and price range but not sure, one thing id sure as hell love one!! Not sure i can talk my way i to spending the house deposit on it tho haha

Even if Ford release a pre build image quite often the real thing will have many differences.

They tend to release pre-production images to gauge interest and get Forums talking thus getting free advertising.

I agree with Nazsky on buying the mk2 RS still looks awesome! Sounds amazing !, the Evans halshaw dealer my Wife go's to as got 2 RS's in at mo in White & Blue £17k (?) mint !! be a very hard decision which one to choose , There's no fog/ driving lights on the Autoexpress RS pictures either? Wonder if COSWORTH will every make a return??

I would go BLUE. But Coswoth did make a return on the mk3 ST so if the RS 2016 comes out I think cosworth would be doing the same.

Hard choice between an mk2 rs and mk3, the volvo five pot is a thing of beauty. I have been considering an mk2 rs but if the new rs is real I will start saving tbh.

VW recently announced a golf R400 limited edition coming sporting 399bhp from its 2.0L turbo engine. I can't see ford not competing with anything other than the current ST till the mk4 focus therefore I say start saving up gents!!

Keeping in mind ford is working on diesel ST
