Ground Behind Glovebox In Mk7 Near The Fuse Box ?

Featured Replies

I've been looking near the fusebox behind the glovebox in my Mk7 Fiesta and can't see an obvious nut to use for a ground connection.

I'm intending to put a 12v socket in the glovebox with a fuse tap into the fusebox, but its just the return ground thats got me scratching my head.

Any suggestions ?

I'm hard wiring a usb charger into my fuse box, and was wondering about the very same.. Will stay tuned :-)

Me too. I want to "hard wire" a car camera up to the rear wiper fuse - so it only comes on when the ignition switched on.

Not had a proper dog around yet, but if like to know where the earth is. Heh.

Did my hard wireing yesterday, found a bolt mounted into the frame under my steering wheel, took my ground from there.

I am not sure placement is same on your British cars, steering wheel being on the other side and all, but check it out, worked out great for me, because i needed my cable to run though there anyway.
