Just wanting to introduce my self to everyone! My name is Nathan, I am 19 and I've just recently bought a Focus Titanium 60 plate (2011) 1.6 TDCI in dark blue. I absolutely love it. From moving from a petrol I just love driving the diesel.

I have a question already! How do would I determine the "MK" of my focus?

Hi jeebo, thanks for the welcome! Yeah, I really do like my car and at my age I think it's awesome! The insurance isn't too bad, it's around £75 a month, which isn't too bad for my age! How much is your insurance? Nice car by the way!

Cheers matey well, I'm 25,2 kids, one fault accident 5 years ago, one none fault 2 months ago, and 2000I business miles. I'm paying around 700 or so for the year. And thanks matey I love it! Wish I could have had the titanium spec bit loving the zetec regardless.

Nice car! I was going to go for the titanium model but didnt have the cash for it so I got my mk2.5 zetec. If you want to lower your insurance trying putting your parents on the car? Make sure you ask them if they have any accidents in the last 5 years or speeding fines/convictions as this will determine if it lowers the insurance. ..

You can always ask your insurance company to see what it would be, if it increases the insurance you dont have to go ahead with it.

700 for 19 year old is pretty damn good anyways!

P.s is that an Evan Halshaw badge I see on the window? I bought my car a year ago from them and had constant problems for 3 months that they tried to get out of... make sure if you start to feel somethings wrong, Take it back to get fixed

I have my mother on the insurance premium and I'm getting cheaper quotes (£75 a month) which I don't think is bad at all. Considering I was paying double that last year with a 1 litre corsa!

Going to do a fee more searches and ring my insurer up and see what they offer me as I have just been doing a comparison sight search.

It is indeed Ed, I'll keep that in mind, if I find anything wrong I will take it straight back to them. They tried to deliver the car with fumes in the tank and said they weren't going to fill it. I replied with "the sales advisor I dealt with said it would get fuel in it and if it isn't then I will not be accepting the car and taking further action" :D soon enough it had fuel in it!

For me I have a 1.8 tdci, the accident happened a few months ago in 1.6tdci cmax and five years ago in a 1.6tdci focus mk2 lol I think fate told me to buy bigger :-P as for reducing insurance your job title has a lot to do with it, if you check Martin Lewis insurance title checker that can give you ideas to use a cheaper title for the same job.

Problem 1. Flat right tyre which was suppose to be sorted but tried to charge me amd gave them evidence on a image.

Problem 2. Coil Pack needed replacing as I was unable to accelerate and had jolting

Problem 3. Central Locking motor x2 needed replacing

Problem 4. A valet guy bumped the car into another and had to be buffed out

Problem 5. Hassle getting things sorted
