Intermittent Indicator Problem

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am having a problem with the left indicator on my 2011 Fiesta Zetec.

When I put the left indicator on sometimes it only flashes once then goes off. The stalk stays in the down position and comes up as it should do when the wheel goes back to the right but the indicator stays off. The same happens if I try and indicate again including if I try and use the three flash version by not pushing the stalk all the way down.

The right one works without a problem.

This doesn't happen every time I drive but is becoming more frequent. If I put the hazards on when the problem is occurring then only the right side flashes.

Has anyone seen this before. Any suggestions on what it could be?

Thanks

From what you've said it must be something to do with the electronics in between the stalk and the left indicators, I'm probably just stating the obvious there, hopefully someone more knowledgeable can tell you more.
