Anyone used wowhd.com?

i preordered a game from there expecting it to be delivered the day or day after release but its not been sent at all.

ive emailed, tweeted and facebooked them but no reply at all.

Anyone had dealings with them like this? I have seen from thier facebook page that they seem to take your money and not send your item.

They are an Australian company and it's very doubtful they'll have a depot in the UK, you'll be waiting a while for it dude, wouldn't surprise me if they send Aussie versions, still PAL and will work fine, would be like buying a Blu Ray from Tesco that says the film is in Australian?!

Well and truely sucks! the website makes no mention of this.

Im going to ask for my money back, but looking at the other comments on other sites its unlikly ill even get that.

ridiculous that they can take your money without saying where the product is or even if they have it in stock!

You can ask your bank to make a chargeback via Visa even if you paid on debit card, Credit card just call them and they'll sort it.

Website for defaulted to the Aussie site, even on the UK one all customer service contacts and the law they abide by is Australian Law.

what did you buy from them?

I paid through Paypal so i will raise it with them.

I Bought Wolfenstein for Xbox One, I know its not long been released but just annoyed it wasnt clear how long it would take. :P

Yes just raise a dispute with them, paypal give the money back almost instantly too.

That'll teach you not to play Battlefield 4 instead :D

I have BF 4 aswell! i was torn between buying premium or a new game haha.

Battlefield all the way! Love it.

Just got to upgrade to an xbox one now. So, are they worth it?

Get Premium, much better, Naval Strike is fun now they have fixed the servers, plus you get the better weapons.

Yes! 64 players on Metro is Chaos, although they expanded the map a little and added an extra corridor this time.

However there is no Sky App or TV apps on it yet except Netflix and 5OD.

Xbox One is pretty decent! I love the controller!

And BF4 is insane with 64 player!!!

Only issue I have with it is the console is Phenomenally slow at loading up some of the programs and parties take about 3 days to load up, Don't even think of accepting an invite mid game, you will DIE!

I only really use it to watch Blu-Ray and and the occasional game. Not enough of my mates have one.

Raised claim with Paypal they say i have 20 days to resolve this with the seller but im going to leave it a few days and escalate it to a claim.

Add me on, I'm on every Monday and Weds evening ( mine and a mates allocated gaming nights by said wives )

No no no! Lol do what I did. Take the night shift at weekends...get loads in, in between feeds :)

Gaming never stops, Especially with a baby, they don't do anything for months except, feed, cry, sleep and !Removed!, all can be done whilst waiting for the next round to start :D ( I can't feed she can though )

HAHA ill proberly end up getting loads in during Paternity time off haha

When my first was a baby, I played the original DOOM on the first playstation :)

He's 19 now! Jeez how time flies!

I think we left it quite late for Kids, my goal is to have them move out before I'm 50! he needs to be gone at 22 at the latest lol in this day and age it isn't going to happen,

and I'll be saying back in the day when you were a baby I drove a Ford Fiesta ST, Now ford have ceased trading and we all have this safe Nuclear / H-Fuel Cell silent powered crap ( or no cars at all ) perhaps even the Mollar Hover car will go mainstream by then.

Frightening when you look back and then to the future.

I've kept all my old consoles though which he can play with when he's old enough, It's quite interesting already, I have the Old US version of the Virtual boy, comparing that to the Oculus rift shows you how far things have come, from a device that caused Epilepsy, seizures and Migraines to a pure HD 3D virtual Headset.
