How easy would something like this be to fit to a Ford Fiesta MK6?

And would it improve it?

Really? How would it cause a fire? Does this need power? it doesn't say it does in the description?

No it'll probli end up restricting it overall, as the intake when your moving will be more pressure than these supply I bet.

They require a 12v ignition feed I think, to supply air by spinning the fan when engine running.

Ah what would be best then to get more air in? Just want it a bit more nippy, nothing major.

A turbo ? but you'd be better off getting a faster car tbh.

Could always remap it ? put an induction kit on ? New exhaust ?

What does an induction kit involve?

Just a new intake hose and new filter assembly with shroud to protect from heat soak.

Other option is to just replace your panel filter with a k&n or pipercross etc.

Would I notice any increase?

You wouldn't notice any power gains, there minimal if any. You'd only notice the noise (throatier). On a turbo car you'd possibly get better throttle response and less lag.

Ah whats a good induction kit for a Fiesta MK6 1.25 then? Need one that's easy to fit and cheapish? but still makes a good noise?

Seems a little expensive for a couple of hoses and a cone with a filter round :/? Thought they are normally cheaper than this but I might buy it just to get it a go. Thanks for the help.

An induction kit is always around that price and normally more. You can get cheaper ones but you get what you pay for. No worries dude.

Try autospecialist, pumaspeed and ebay for induction kits for your car

Cheaper option, sell the car for a few K and buy a Mint Ph1 Impreza STI Type R ( the good looking 2 door one ) Jap Import for 2K, change left over for insurance #Jobjobbed

it can be generally frowned upon as either an offensive reference to the Japanese, or alternatively I am sure you have heard the phrase of such an eye? which also can be seen as offensive.

We are always happy to review words in the filter that others do not feel is necessarily, I might start a seperate thread where others can put their thoughts towards the team and we can review them in turn.
