Well basically the intercooler was shiny chrome,

The took a hair dryer from Marty's MX-5 it being a hair dressers car

Connected it to the inlet on the intercooler along with some temperature probes,

In chrome sitting in traffic it was 30 degrees hotter than it was after they painted it matt black,

But when driving it was 20 degrees hotter when black than it was when chrome,

They say black objects absorb and expelle radioactive heat much quicker.

I still suggest you take the time to watch it though
