Large Cd?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I was looking to buy a CD around 4GB to store all my music on as using the aux for my phone is really annoying.

Anyone know of anywhere I can buy one? I have tried searching amazon etc however I have been unable to find one :(.

Or even some sort of iPod connector so I can change the song etc using the head unit, (My Stereo is a Ford 6000CD.)

Thanks,

Maximum size a CD will hold is 700mb and about 80mins worth of audio.

Choices are to continue using the AUX (which I agree is crap) or upgrade your stereo, or get one of these Bluetooth adaptors for aux which I think are available.

I have the same CD player and I'm definitely upgrading to a DVD/Sat Nav unit at some point.

Ah Damn it. I just want something I can use without picking up my phone etc.. and just change it on the stereo itself.

You and me both mate. I don't use the aux anymore as the sound quality is crap.

As mentioned:

CD's - 700mb

DVD SL - 4.7GB

DVD DL - 8 GB

the only way you can get over CD size is to go DVD, but you would then need a DVD player on the stereo - which is an aftermarket part - which would probably have USB - so you can just plugin the tunez and go from there :p

Fit this radio and you would be able to encode some mp3 cd's and pack far more music into 700mb.-
