Featured Replies

I could do with some help on a program I am writing, must be willing to help someone who is probably going to ask stupid questions, and many of them!

c'mon you lot! surely I cannot be the only geek who does some programminge? :p

I have programmed in a few languages Jeebo, but Vb.net is not one of them.

If if it's more general help and not syntax based, then I'm sure anyone can help?

its quite specific, talking of opening and managing sockets, and debating if I need to thread them or not!

I may regret this but....

I'm a C# developer, used to do a fair bit with VB6 years ago and briefly touched on vb.net but not in much detail. So in short I can probably help! What are the questions?

I watched a tutorial earlier so need to follow it through but the issue I had was freezing the app and not reading the data back off the sockets... Will try re write my class and see what the result is!
