I can't remember who told me or whether it was on another forum but they said that using black electrical tape around the headlights works just as well as spraying it black, so me being rather skint until friday tried this and its worked!

When the glass is off it looks really quite crap, but with the glass on and the headlights in place it looks alright! They just look a little bit darker around the edges and does not look like they'res odd bits of electrical tape on the lights! :)

Another way ive seen people do it is to wrap tights around there lights lol looks ok from a distance i guess.

looks a lot better than i was expecting. i've heard that if you t-cut the silver bits around the edges it blackens them giving the black eye effect i think your after!
