My front and back haven't worked for a while now, both went at the same time. This has made me think that there is a block in the filter form the water container.

Can anyon tell me how I get at this so I can give it a cleana and pass my MOT without having to pay some garage to do it form me?

Thanks in advance chaps!

Good morning,

Does the motor def work, can you hear the sound? If so then its probably a lot of gunk around the end of that and where it connects to the water bottle. Happened on my corsa.

Hope this helps

Is this the mk7 fiesta? I had the same problem, basically when you close the bonnet at the right hand side (when your facing the front of the car) the black pipe gets bent, thus the water cannot get through. Youll need someone to help you fix it though, as they slowly close the bonnet just slowly push the pipe in making sure that it dosent bend. Hope this helps.

make sure your mixture of water/washer fluid is ok as too much washer fluid can make it go like jelly in the bottom of the tank and can clogg up the pipes. best to take it all out flush the pipes and tank and filter.

Thanks for the replies everyone. My Fiesta is an 04 Zetec.

I can hear the pump/motor when I try to clean the screen. I don't think it sounds any different to when it is working properly.

I am sure the water mix is fine, it is actually quite thin at the moment. I will have a look at the bonnet closing suggestion shortly.

I reckon it is probably blocked at the filter but am not sure how to get at it.
