Hi there I'm new to this forum and I was wondering if anyone could help me with some info regarding the music box.

I'm thinking about buying and fitting a music box for my 2008 focus (600cd stereo) and was wondering if anyone knows it it plays out tracks from Spotify? Of if its just saved tracks on your fone?and also if so can you skip etc using the stereo and steering wheel buttons.

    One of the guys at work turned round and said "my dads got this awesome music box in his car, it can play any music he wants" to which one of the guys replied "its called a radio!" - it really was one of those "you had to be there" moments....

    Anyway, reverting to the point, Are you referring to one of these additional boxes where you can get USB / Bluetooth etc and plug it in (the name escapes me and I want to call it a transit but I am sure that is wrong :P)

    The official Ford music box add-on only plays from memory sticks.

    I have one and the steering controls work.

    You can skip tracks back and forward and jump folders.

    Pausing the music requires pushing the phone buttons on tge radio (only works if you don't have factory bluetooth fitted).

    Sound quality is very good.
