flump
Well I've been driving for 37 years and for the first time in all those years I shut my boot with the keys in it ! So there I was, stuck in a car park with no spare key and my son in law who works for the RAC was on holiday so coudnt help me,and as you know if you own a streetka the only way to open the boot is with the key. Then it started to rain, great ! Luckily the doors were open so I didn't get wet.I was with my best friend so she phoned her daughters father in law who is in the AA,I said does he have a drink problem ? Because that's not going to open my boot, well that got us laughing .Anyway he turned up,called the AA and I had to pretend I was his wife. When the guy turned up he was saying about taking panels off etc,I was thinking omg ! Then I said in between the two seats is a compartment that has a lock which opens the boot but you need a T design key,he got in my car, next minute the boot opened,he only used his van key ! So after 3 hours in home bargains car park starving I finally got my keys, lesson learnt. Never put your keys in your boot !
vinnyvangough
Oh dear. I never understand why you would put your keys in your boot anyway?
L666JER
I do that a lot , luckily I leave the front doors unlocked until the last moment.
jeebowhite
I tend to leave keys in pockets where possible to avoid this situation, or I unlock the whole car and not just the boot.
