Alloy pedals problem

Hi all I have the alloy pedal set on my MK7 and the clutch and brake fit snuggly and never move but the accelarator pedal cover always moves right down after a journey and I have to push it up again either as Im driving or afterwards.

Anyone else have this problem? Happens if I have a heavy right foot or not.

Any ideas on whether it would be wise or unwise to use something to stick the pedal down with?

    can't you use some sort of contact adhesive on it to stop it from moving - not like you are going to be taking them off again is it?
