Fitting a rear wiper

I have a base model '96 Classic Fiesta and was wondering if I could fit a rear wiper (essential in my opinion)?

Are the cables behind the dashboard/at the rear just waiting for the hardware to be fitted?

Were they optional extras at the time?

Any ideas welcome.

    Best taking the cover off from inside the boot and check if there are wires and mountings there for a motor first. If there is you shuld be able to simply fit a wiper stalk from a fiesta that has a rear wiper. I happen to have one you could have, or you could get one from a scrap yard along with the motor and wiper arm that you would also need
