Issues With Unlocking Driver Door With Fob

Hi,

I have a 2003 Focus, all the doors lock with the fob, all open apart from the driver door, i have to use the key, but....... then it starts unlocking with the fob, took the car to Halfords today, they sprayed it with WD40 and they said, if the solenoid has packed up then it just stops working, but mines on and off, any ideas??

    Means it needs stripping back and soaking in silicone spray to try stop it from seizing up.
