Offside Lights Issue

Featured Replies

Hi guys can anyone help me pls, my o/s front and rear side lights stopped working, checked all 3 earth contacts in rear of vehicle and cleaned Etc, found fuse blown (number 7) replaced fuse, every time I turn on side lights it blows the fuse? Any ideas??? Cars a Ford ka 54 reg

It's got to have something wrong with the wiring. Sounds like there is a power surge going on to blow the fuse everytime.

How and where can I check this

Is there any water ingress anywhere near the wiring from bulb to fuse? Might be worth checking the volts on the o/s and comparing to n/s.

Sounds like you have a short circuit, could be a wire that's rubbing somewhere
